Atom Cianfarani was the creative director of Gaelyn & Cianfarani. G&C 's aesthetic was elegant and innovative, introducing sustainable textiles onto fashion's runways (soy, hemp, organics, bamboo). Combinations of these "eco" textiles along with a signature fabric made in her East Village Studio, Cianfarani created a new way to participate in fashion. The signature fabric was made from worn out bicycle inner tubes, which speaks to Cianfarani's commitment to preserve while creating.
